I received them yesterday and I am now satisfied as I wanted more magnification. I also have Nikon's ATB 8x40s, too, but the porro designs are pretty big and heavy, but good for sporting events in addition to wildlife viewing. Gear

The detail rendering and image acuity is just that much better than even the very best from Canon, Nikon, Pentax, etc. The latter ones do make some good bins but they are simply nowhere near the former. But then again, they are CRAZY expensive.
