Just wondering what tools and supplies do you carry (that aren't obviously photography accessories) and what do you use them for? What have been some of the most handy things you've found around the house?

Things like:
Duct tape
Tape Measure
Zip ties
Bandages
?

Plastic bag; stores small and protects the camera if I get caught out in the rain.

Zip ties
First aid kit
Multi-tool
Hex and Star wrenches for tripod and L-bracket
Small flashlight and headlamp
Several spare carabiners
Cord/string
Gloves for scrambling and bushwhacking
Gatorade G2 powder packets

Hadn't thought of carrying duct tape, mainly because of its bulk and weight...

a 12 inch hand mirror for last minute checks when I shoot portraits of women. They love me for it and if their bangs are hanging wrong, they have nobody to blame but themselves...

multi-tool, flashlight, magnifying glass. I use a fingertip flashlight, great for finding stuff in your bag without making a ruckus.

A lint "brush" (the sticky tape roller kind)
Painter's tape (the blue stuff) as a cheap sub for gaffers tape
Hair bands (for pony tails) to hold misc. bounce items to my flash (I despise velco on my flash head)

That is a great idea. From a mans perspective - ugh, me bring crescent wrench.
