New Be Just want some feedback to make impovements.

My Daughter was picking flowers in the garden so grabbed my camera.
Would like some feedback as i have never posted before and would like to impove.

This is a good shot that could be made even better with some post processing. For starters, I'd increase the contrast and brightness, and adjust the white balance to get a warmer skin tone. I'd probably crop it to remove some of the right side and maybe a little off the top.

The shot could have been improved with some fill flash or a reflector since she appears to be back lit or maybe it's overcast or after sunset.

spent ~1 min on it :). just played around with brightness, contrast and saturation.

My thoughts exactly...tweak that white balance and re-crop, then see if you need to bump that exposure just a tad. The rest is a nice, soft shot. Do to much and you might lose that.

Thanks everyone for all feedback its much appreciated, Paul i did take the original in RAW but converted it place on here, i will now go and have a tweak of image and re-post, thanks again for all replys and advice.

Since you have the original RAW you should be able to get a really nice post-processed image using DPP or LR. I have many pictures that looked like yours (kinda dull, flat lighting) which looked great after few tweaks in DPP.
