I have a weird experience. I usually come here to check out the People forum. Previously, for two years, I clicked on those threads with titles in light blue color in bold font. Those were threads that I have not checked out. However, recently when I do the same routine, quite a number of them are threads that I have checked out before, maybe just a few hours ago.

Have the forums changed the setting?

Nope. Still works the same for me. You maybe change browsers?

Remember that the boldface applies to any threads with posts from the last week that you haven't read. It only takes one new post in a thread you've previously seen to set it back to "unread" as far as the vBulletin software is concerned.

Thanks for your reply! I haven't changed the browser lately. I know that boldface applies to any threads with new posts. Yet those threads that are read should still have the titles in dark blue color.

If you have read every post in them, through to the last page, they shouldn't be in bold-face. If, however, you replied while missing a last page, they won't show as read.
