Just wanted to see what you all thought about this camera? Is it a decent one? Seems to have a lot of features, just not sure if they all come together or not.

I considered getting one, but it did not get "best of breed" in the "compact super zoom" review on DPR last year;

It also gets mixed reviews on Canon's website;

It's an excellent camera. I would love to have one.

I'd rather have the S-90 or S-95 (larger sensor), but the SX210 has a better zoom.

In low light, without a flash, the SX210 (like most point and shoots) is very limited (if you are shooting anything that moves at all).

But in good light it's outstanding.

Just make sure you're not ordering from a website that scams people.

Go to Resellerratings.com and check the status of the retailer from who you wish to purchase.

You might want to go to Ebay for better protection. That camera is slightly older, but still excellent.

Thank you. bw!

Like I wrote in a previous post,
the SX210 is now being sold for $199,
whereas the SX230 is $349 - that's a big price difference
for two cameras which are not that different from one another.
True, the SX230 has a CMOS sensor and a built in GPS,
but that doesn't justify paying so much more for it.
