A couple from the day's explorations

Surprisingly we were the only ones here. Pretty easy access, sort of surprising considering the weather.

A fungus found in the woods, have no idea what it is. I've never seen these before but bet they are common

Snoqualmie Pass area. The pond is right off I-90 at Gold Creek/Hyak just east of the summit. I had to go through a couple of 50' stretches of snow on the road to get to the parking area but no big deal.

The pond was originally a gravel pit used for constructing I-90 through th epass and then restored to woodland area. The only thing disturbing the water were the geese.
