We had a small picnic with few of the bible study groups yesterday, and took these for them. I hope you find these enjoyable and C&C are always welcome. Thanks for looking. :D

They look good. Only CC I have would be, try putting their backs to the sun. You'll get some nice rim light. Also, try to shoot against a darker background. The background you have is quite bright, if you were to brighten the photo up at all, the background would blow out. A reflector would have helped quite a bit too.

I think in the shade a good call, but fill flash helps still. Help brighten eyes and makes for less shadows, even in shade. but I like them a lot. Nice set.

I agree on the fill flash, but that doesn't change the fact you did a stunning job! Love them!

I think the background is perfect but the folks could have used a fill flash for sure. Maybe even a reflector would have made them pop out a bit more. They look like they were having a great time.

Yes, the white balance should be warmer.

First of all, everyone's expressions are so nice! They exude joy! Great job on that.

Keeping in mind that this was a casual picnic at a time that you couldn't control, I think you did a very nice job! Skin tones on grass is so difficult! Believe me, I know how that goes! You might play with the exposure a bit and warm up the skin tones on a few of these.
