I took my camera to the beach a couple of days ago. There was a strong wind blowing off the ocean but I didn't actually feel any spray. Should I be giving my camera a wipe over with a clean damp cloth just to be safe?

I was more wondering about salt that I cannot see but that might (or might not ) be there. I'll give it all a careful clean.

Salt is also an abrasive, I'd still use a blower, or brush, especially on the lens element.
