My Niece

Here is a pic I took this weekend of my niece. We were out at a stock car race and the sun was very bright but we were in the shade. So I exposed for her face (overexposed just a tad) and let the background blow out to white.

Please comment and critique. I'm a big boy, I can take it.

I am usually not a fan of chopping off the top of the head either. Ill see if I have any similar ones where I didn't do that and post them. Thanks!

So I only have 3 shots of her. 2 with her head cut off like this and one w/o. But her eyes are closed in the one w/o. Oh well. Thanks for the comments guys!

Unless she has a special hairdo ontop of her head, there's no necessity to show all of her head. It is very common to compose as shown. There's a saying something like "nothing note worthy above the forehead"

Lovely capture, and like the composition. However, her eyes look to be over whitened, is this the case or does she have naturally bright eyes?
