We took a Sunday drive to Prescott yesterday...it is SO beautiful there. The big kids are with their Dad this week, so it was just us and the 4 little ones. My goal was to get some nice, new, updated photos of the little kids. I'm seriously embarrassed by the ancient stuff that's on my walls right now. And I've *really* missed doing personal work. I've been very busy with my business lately (busy for me anyways) and feel like taking pictures of my own kids has fallen to the way side lately.

Anyways, I just started in on Millie's pictures. She'll be 3 years old on the 12th. She's still a very dainty, tiny (25lbs tiny) little thing, who loves everything girly. She reminds me of a little forest pixie with her huge eyes, fuzzy hair, and tiny stature. I just love her.

She was really off in her own little world when we found this field of orange flowers. I didn't get much as far as eye contact goes here, but these are SO her. Serious and determined, she was set on picking a bouquet of flowers. And she did. She carried them the entire 2 1/2 hour drive home too. Bless her! These were taken in the last 10-15 minutes before sunset so the colors were super vibrant and rich.

5 And she does have a face. :) This was taken a few hours earlier up in the mountains near Prescott.

I would put number 2 on the mantle. I love her profile and the light edging the back of her hair
