Well, searched for this, and it seems like it was either just a review of a single service center, or a complaint, and any comparisons were 5-6 years old...

So, I have a lens that has a malfunction, and needs to be sent in, not under warranty.

Poll, and I'd also appreciate reason for which one, if you have any comments... Thank you!

Edited: Added ability to vote for more than one, in case you have experience with more than one service center.

Free would be nice...I wish I was close enough to walk, but the closest place is 1,000 miles. They already have my credit card info, so I'm guessing they will be charging me. I just hope the initial estimate is the real cost, if not less...

I have used both without issue, or at least the same issues. Sent several lenses in for adjustment and I believe both have had to go back twice at times but both got it right eventually.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Was it on Canon's dime for the second shipment? It was almost $14 in shipping with insurance and everything...don't want to pay that again, if they don't fix it the first time, that's not my fault.

Every time I have had to send something in a second time, Canon picked up the bill. Well, they sent a shipping label.

Good to know. I hope they get it right the first time.
