I think this may be a case of "Robbing the cradle" :) More macro moments. Looking back on this shoot I felt a little like this face...

Haha! No need for you to blush - they're the ones utilising a public space!
Seriously though, fantastic images - #1 is my favourite for the nice crisp tones.

Great work Cory, love the rim lighting on No3, combined with a lovely clean and smooth background. Which close up lens did you use for these???

Speaking of grass....

Is anyone else hearing Teddy Pendergrass music while looking at these photos?

Nicely done.

Great shots! Um, is there something significant about it happening in "cheatgrass"?

Ha, ha, ha...Great relies, funny stuff! She is quite the Cougar of the bug world. She must have money! Thanks for the nice comments folks. It is so fun to shoot and but having a place to share where people appreciate the photos is the icing on the cake!

Thanks John...I absolutely love this type of lighting. The way the sun sets out behind our house in the evening has been producing a lot of images that are making me smile. These were shot using the G fitted with the Raynox 250 I just picked up. You were right, it is less forgiving than the 150. However, I think if you can get used to it, the added magnification combined with the insane DOF the G offers can make for a macro set up capable of producing some intense images. It is definitely not the go to filter for all occasions though.
