Well kind of...

Gave these guys a selective color treatment, I try and use it sparingly, but I just couldn't help it with this one. Would love to hear thoughts on the processing as well as the composition. I know selective color isn't for everyone, and usually it's not for me, but in this case... well Mario & Luigi just needed some respect!

Brilliant! At first I was going to say you cut off some of buzz and whats-his-name up front, but I actually like that...the focus is on the brothers Mario, and the rest, you get just enough to know who they are, but they're not distracting...this feels like some kind of a candid shot, that leaves me with questions...what's this rag-tag gang of cartoon characters up to? where are they going? It feels like you caught them mid-action.

Nicely done!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad the other characters were recognizable but were really irrelevant. It's clear here the plumbers run the show and call the shots. That's why they got a little color treatment ;)

Coming back to this photo, the only thing I don't really like is that I can see some of the outline around mario's head from the masking done...can you blend that away a little maybe? I'm by no means a photoshop guru so forgive me if i am using some incorrect terminology here.
