The first I think they are lost in the scene, the nice building is the main subject.
I really like the second shot, but I would spend the extra time in PS to get rid of the reflections in the top part of the glass.

I agree, I like that you went for an extreme composition in the first one BUT they are lost.. it took me a minute to find them. Second one I dig but I would love to see it in B&W.

I agree also about #1. I was more focused on the building.
