Did a remote shoot Sun. night and wanted to post on the performance of my Vagabond Mini.
It was an alleyway shoot (will post pics when processed, and yes, it was more dancers!) and I took two Einsteins with me, one naked, one with white BD. I really only planned on using one light, but ended up using two for most of it.
Shot around 50 shots with one light (with ambient), then went to two light setup for another 200 or so as it started getting dark. At this point the VBM power indicator was on one light (25% I think?). At around this time it started becoming too dark for my lens to easily grab focus so I switch one of the Einstein's modeling lamps on to FULL. I figured I would try it with what battery I had left and just pop in my extra battery when it went out. I shot another 30 to 35 shots using two lights with one modeling lamp on full. When the battery finally had enough I switched to a fresh battery.
I thought this was pretty good performance. Above what I had expected.
NOTE: When I popped in the new battery I tried to turn on both modeling lamps just for the heck of it. It looked like a disco in that alleyway. The modeling lights would go bright and dim opposite each other in rapid succession.
NOTE 2: Shot counts don't include metering after light and scene changes. So the true pop count is a little higher.

Can be done for about 100€.
