Hi,

here's two more shots of birds I took at the zoo recently. I'd be grateful for advice on how to improve the composition first and foremost, but any advice regarding lighting, image quality improvements or suggested post processing is appreciated as well. :)

#1 - try to have the bird facing you more. So seeing it from the front, not the back.
There also seems to be a ledge on the right that is casting a shadow so if you could have ogt the bird on that you would have had less shadow.

#2 - you have cut its tail off and that is not good. If you had been able to get the tail in and the bird with the food in its beak looking at you, then that would have been good.

Your focussing and exposure look OK though.
