TV mode allows you to change your shutter value and the camera will compensate to obtain correct exposure by adjusting the aperture. Where ever you are doing this the camera is telling you it needs to be wide open in order to get the exposure correct. The blinking is telling you that your aperture can't open wide enough to get the shot correctly exposed. Increase your ISO or lower your shutter speed and you'll see the aperture value change.

Recommend reading your manual so you understand how the different camera modes work. The camera is operating normally.

Yeah, it means that even your lens' fastest aperture of f1.4 can't give it enough light for the shutter speed (and ISO) you picked.

I hate comments like this. It's just as easy to post something helpful.

Oh...maybe I should re-word my comment then.

It will be very helpful if you can go take a detail read through your user manual. You will have better understanding of your dslr and learn its capabilities and functions.

I agree with tkbslc - if you don't want to help someone, don't bother replying.

Nobody is forcing you to go on these forums and read people's requests for help.
