Went to my nephews wedding last yr May . Decided to try out a new program i bought " Portrait Professional (external link) " . Decided to give this cropped closeup a try with the new program so looking for Cs'&Cs' . I've tried it on my older brother but it was said best to leave it as was because of his age . Now being a younger couple i thought it might work out better .

Her forehead looks a little splotchy in the after picture. I would correct in post and work on her teeth

He didn't shave for the wedding , typical newlywed kid trying to have the "Dirty Look" . Could that be what your seeing on his chin ? I thought about editing that out possibly . What do you think ? And your right , she did have great eyes ! ;)

I love my PP software! It's defininitely an improvement after your processing, I would just be careful of too much skin smoothing, getting the Barbie-doll effect. Have you played with the sliders within the different effects? Try backing off the skin smoothing just a little & see if it doesn't give you a more natural look. Also, on the girl, I'd play with the mouth controls a little, too; it looks ot me like in the after photo her gums and lips are a little too defined or something, not sure. I would also ask her how much processing she'd like you to do on her teeth, or give her one with just a little & one with more, then let her decide. She might be offended if you just erase all the discoloration, since she of course knows what her teeth look like. She does have killer eyes!

Too much post processing IMO.
This is wedding not model shoot.

But you know the client, I don't.
Maybe they will love it, it's all up to the client.

The biggest probelm I see with the original image isn't skin imperfections, but the distorted perspective caused by the camera distance. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=672913

No, I'm not a professional photographer, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
