I am involved in a production of Disney's Beauty And The Beast, which will take place this coming August.

While the principals will have a little time to rehearse with each other, the real work of putting on a show will start on Monday 1st August, and the first public show will be on Friday 5th August. A few adults and one hundred and seventeen kids!

At the weekend, a photographer who is a friend of the director came to photographs some of the adult principals for publicity pictures. I was meant to spend the bulk of my time in front of his lens, but I also helped choose locations and of course I brought my camera along too.

#1 - Belle.

#4 - (My favourite) Belle and the Beast outside. perhaps I should clone out the gutter down-pipe, but I do rather like the structure of the house being visible

Many thanks go to the people of Camphill Castle for letting us use their wonderful building!

And also to George Riddell for taking this one of me (dodgy processing is my fault)

Great shots, I especially like all the color and sharp contrast in #1 of Belle. The wood, the radiator, the red checkered cushion, the light yellow tones of the dress, and last of all the tree outside the window isn't completely out of focus. Setup, please if you remember.

Thank you very much! The setup was pretty straightforward, as far as I remember. 1/100s, f8. A touch of fill flash, though I think it was adjusted to around -1 2/3 stops. Then some cleaning up in Photoshop, but nothing much more than a basic crop, exposure adjust etc.
