In my last thread, I decided instead of buying the MT-24EX I would try to upgrade my current 430EX and get an MP-E65 soon. Well, I'm now looking at the accessories I would need for that.

Right now I'm shooting with a 430EX directly on camera, so I need an off-camera flash cord. The Zeikos on B&H looks like a good deal.

Another thing I'm looking at is a bracket. It looks like a lot of people have recommended the Manfrotto 330B, but I think I want a little more control than that. The Kirk FB-8 looks great, and VERY adjustable so I may give it a whirl. Anyone have luck with it, or should I look elsewhere.

The last thing I'm looking for is a diffuser. I may end up making a coke can one like LordV, but if there's one I could purchase that would be good too!

So basically I'm posting this thread for recommendations on any for the three aforementioned items, and also ideas of what else I would need. Thanks!

Check out this thread for a flexible ARM bracket.

I bought and assembled one and love the results. As for the flash cord, go to flashzebra.com for that. they are pretty decently priced and service is good.

Yeah Lon is great to deal with. I had a OFC cord go bad after one use while SHOOTING a wedding. Lon replaced in super quick. No problems with the replacement at all.
