Does it work OK, are there any issues with the AF or I.S. with this combo. Thanks for any feedback. TOP BIRD SHOTS

So make sure you get one with the green or blue dot (the latest version, I doubt many of the original red dot ones are around anymore) and it should be fine.

As a longer non-macro lens, for extra magnification, or greater working distance? Just for a greater working distance at times. I used a Kenko pro 1.4x on my non I.S. 100 a few years ago and it worked well, but got rid of it. TOP BIRD SHOTS
