Just would like to give a heads up.

This is THÉ best lens ever. Wow! I'm blown away! I had heard good things about it, but now that I actually got it I'm very excited.

The colors are AMAZING!

For this price everyone should pick one up. Mine was 21€ (including both caps and leather hard-case).

I'm so happy I found this lens...

Everyone who's used this lens will probably agree with me that this is probably one of the best bang-for-the-buck lenses. Share your stories and experiences with this piece of beauty (and let's jack the price up so we can sell it with profit, muahaha!)

EDIT: Two super quick snapshots. The first with my 40D, the second with the 20D. Taken 20 seconds after another. Same settings.
ISO 200, f/3.5. The 40D's picture was taken on 1/50, the 20D's 1/40. Not that big of a difference and as far as I know I didn't think the difference would be so big. No post of course.
(Don't mind the mess...)

40D:

Any reasons why the 40D's colors are so much more vibrant?

Well if you like the Oly 28/f3.5 then dont forget the Oly 24/f2.8 MC which is a really nice performer for folks entering the MF arena. It performs very nice on the croppers and 5D MKII FF.

When you find the time read the below:

Wow, that looks like some really interesting reads. I know what I'll be doing the next hour...

EDIT: Just read the 24mm test (Canon vs Nikon vs Olympus) and at first I was really stoked for the Olympus: smashing the other two lenses on everything beneath f/8. Then at f/8-f/11 the Olympus really let me down. I haven't looked at the price yet, but I figured I'd pick one up just to see and compare it to the 28mm f/3.5 I just got.

I shall do a small comparison as well to see if the IQ actually gets worse at f/8 and lower...

Check the white balance.

Also, there are some really good OM lenses.

18/3.5, 21/2, 21/3.5, 24/2.8, 28/2, 50/2 Macro, 55/1.2, 85/2, 100/2

All of those lenses are good. The standouts are 21/3.5 is the best full frame lens wider than 24 for what you pay for it. It's a really nice little lens. The 50/2 Macro is flat out amazing. Everything about it --same with the 85/2.

White balance, metering (as far as that matters), ISO, aperture all the same. Only difference was 1/40 vs 1/50 but that shouldn't produce such different colors right?

I'll go check out those lenses too! The 18mm/21mm sound very interesting! I'm looking for a nice UWA!

EDIT: Those lenses are really expensive. I was looking at the 21mm f/3.5 - it goes for around 450€ on eBay. That's a little more than I hoped it would be, haha!
