Grip hardware question

Say if you were to mount c-stand column on something like a wooden/metal wagon with wheels would following piece of hardware work?

c-stand column:

Hi Bobby,

To make use of c-stand and other Avenger risers you want to make sure that the receptor is a Junior receptor and not a Baby.

If you do that then you can use any wall plate or base or risers.

For the price of that collumn, you may just want to upgrade to a real c-stand with a detachable base. That way you can use either the base or the cart setup...

I was thinking the same thing, but just trying to figure out a way to stabilize the cart without a boatload of weight. One idea was mounting the Junior receptor to an 18" or 24" concrete tile that would fit in the cart.

So if I use the junior receptor the c-stand column end will go into it? I was just looking at some specs on the BH and it was saying that lower end of c-stand columns was 5/8". Unless the junior receptor is same as 5/8" which I don't think.

I thought about that plate also but was confused as picture of c-stand column tha I saw on BH said 5/8" on lower end.

The radio flyer kind of cart is already approx 40" lbs so I don't think it is going anywhere and it has 4 wheels. No practical experience just thinking.

The Avenger riser, for instance, has a Junior pin on the bottom and it's made to mate with a a junior receptor like the one found on a C-stand.

I don't think that any of those risers and bases are using the baby pin. B&H has been known to have incorrect information.

That base has a junior receptor. You can use a riser or an E200 or anything with a junior pin.

You can see in the pic that the pin on the bottom is much larger than the baby pin on top. That's the standard junior pin on the bottom.

It doesn't have brakes and it can't level a slope.

I was thinking about something like the the center down rod of a double swung gate that's used to lock one side closed. With 2 of those mounted on each side of just one end of the cart, you could stabilize and level the contraption. As long a each one could be secured at different heights.

Full on gheto would have hydrolics at all four corners and auto leveling like a big motor coach...
