I was told this image looks like the Microsoft Bliss screen saver. If so then I think I know where Bliss was taken and in fact this may be the reason why I shot this scene. I have been looking at it for years now. To the right is a massive dairy nestled into the foothills which I have shot a lot.

The question I ask ...
Does this image work? Does it generate interest? Any print or composition issues?

Thanks in advance.

I wish the grass was more evenly lit. The bit at the bottom right looks great

I took about 12 frames and guess what. I have one with the entire foreground lit. I worked up a copy but to be honest with the entire foreground lit evenly is too much of the same light and the light sky and light grass do not convey the same kind of contrast at that defining edge.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw the image a few days ago.

Ok here's a version which is lit a little differently and uses "standard" instead of "landscape" finish. These are from a 5DII. I like this version. I like them both.

I'm sure there are a few hill pairs around. I could drive Jamieson Canyon road it's an hour away. That would be a nice day out. Bring camera. This shot was taken just outside of Nicasio in Marin county.

It looks almost the same, beautiful shot like the first image posted, It's just that the grass were slightly lit up! I really like the clouds, how it was formed and of course, the mountains. To sum it up, it's perfect! Thanks for sharing!

I though this when I first saw this shot ...

Over the hills and far away,
Teletubbies come to play ....
Time for teletubbies,
time for teletubbies,
time for teletubbies....
Tinkywinky. "Tinkywinky!"
Dipsy. "Dipsy!"
Laalaa. "Laalaa!"
Po. "Po!"
Teletubbies. "Teletubbies!"
Say, Heeeeee-lo! "Eh-oh!"
Tinkywinky. Dipsy. Laalaa. Po.
Teletubbies. "Teletubbies!"
Say Heeeeeee ......... "Uh-oh!"
"Where have the teletubbies gone ?
Where have the teletubbies gone?"

Thanks everyone. I think the grass needs to come up a bit. Sonoma. I know where that dairy is too. Funny though what I thought Bliss is and what it really is are vastly different in composition.
