Hey all, I have read several of the Las Vegas, Sin City threads in here and have searched for more. I have written down some places listed to shoot from... roof of Bellagio parking garage, etc... But I had not seen specifics on lens choice with the lenses I have.

So, I have a 60D and the lenses I currently have (the 18-135 and 70-300 in my gear list link are currently under conditions of sale and out of state) are EFS 10-22, EFS 17-55, and 70-200 F4 IS. I would love to take everything in my camera case (pelican 1510), but I don't wanna tempt fate by rolling a case full of equipment up and down the strip in and out of casinos.

I am thinking of one lens and my tripod. Specifically, I am thinking 17-55, but I am afraid I wont be able to go wide enough with it and the opposite true for the 10-22 (not long enough)....

Any ideas and opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Take all 3. No point having them otherwise.

The thing about Vegas is you could shoot there for a year with every lens Canon makes and still find things you missed.

Well, I took the 10-22 and the 17-55 and used the 17-55 mainly. I ran into some issue though with security at The Venetian, The Crystal Mall, Caesar's Palace, and Paris. All of their security told me I could not use a tripod on their property.

Paris stated is was a security issue because professional's use them and then sell the pictures they take. The others all stated tripping hazard. So, it limited my ability to shoot in some places.

Anyways, I am working on getting some pics up in the next couple days.
