I like that idea, out of intrest what fps are you running at, and what was your time delay on the stills

That is awesome! Only thing I think would have made it cooler would if you could have positioned the camera such that the lights in the background (looks like a city or campsite or something) werent visible.

Other than that, awesome!

So what were the details?

I was shooting on a Canon 7D with a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, wide open at f/2.8, ISO 1600, 25 second exposures, 30 second intervals.

I really need a wider lens. At 24mm on the 7D, stars start to blur with exposures longer than 20 seconds.
