I normally print either 15x10cmm or 13x18cm and I mostly use Canon's DPP for post-processing. Right now I am wondering what output resolution to set for the above sizes when exported as TIFF image?

tzalman Fatal attraction. 13,497 posts Likes: 213 Joined Apr 2005 Location: Gesher Haziv, Israel More info | Jun 10, 2011 05:31 | #2 300 pixels per inch (ppi) is optimum; bigger doesn't make it better and with less there is a gradual fall off in quality - 240/250 is still very good, 150 is about the bottom. 300 ppi is 120 ppcm, so for 10x15 cm. that is 1200 x 1800 pixels and 13x18 cm. it is 1560 x 2160 pixels. Probably much less than your camera is capable of. Elie / אלי
