^ That's a cheap and effective way to bounce light... but I'm not going to feel sorry when it falls off and can't find it. At that point I'm sure you'd call to void the card. lol

what you think? i think its a bit under exposed but the lighting looks balanced well. better then pointing the flash directly to them.

thoughts?

Done on a canon 400d and tamron f2.8 17-50mm lens

Yes, better than direct flash. You might have to dial in some exposure compensation to nail the exposure, but I think you are on the right track.

Its big enough to serve as a kicker card when you have a room you can bounce in, its probably not big enough to make much of a difference if you are in a room with no bounce surfaces.

In the photos shown, you could have gotten even greater results by doing the following:

- Increasing your ISO
- Getting rid of the bounce card and pointing your flash behind you, over the top of your head, so that it bounces off the wall/ceiling behind you
- Increasing ETTL to +2/3

In the 1st shot, the wall behind me was maybe 50feet away from me lol. think of the place as a typical hall with a stage infront. that pic i took was infront of the stage.

ETTL? how do i adjust that? Also, i cant point my flash behind me. it cant reach that far. it can only reac as far as pointing up the top of the ceiling which is 20feet or more high
