Not fond of the position (squarely sideways) and he is pretty static. Needs some interest.
As far as composition goes, have to disagree - there he is on the right and the big tree with the 2 people on the left and another tree separating the 2 halves.

lions fan is more like it...like the shot but have to ask when you went out to take pictures of people did you go looking for the old person sitting at the bench in thought look? I know alot of people pics gravitate towards shooting the elderly and I love that we should spend more time with our elders ..and wonder if that was your inspiration or if you just happened upon him?
