Thank you all for your patience.... just got home from a long week. I have been watching and studying all the wonderful entries this week and you make it so hard to pick a winner.

BUT, since I have to:

1st Place: jeev
I remember summers at Martha's Vineyard and on Lake Champlaign in Vermont doing that very thing with my siblings. Brings back a ton of fun memories for me :)

Runner Up: JasonC. I just love everything about this shot.

Thanks to all who participated and you made this very difficult to judge. Keep shooting... you all amaze me!!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Since Igrew up on the East coast, I craved the summer weather and freedoms. Winters were so confining. Fortunately, we always lived close to water so all the water shots were a draw for me. I think I changed my mind about 12 times this week because so many of the photos were so familar and so great. I hope we can keep this level of entries going.

Congrats to jeev and Jason C.

And thank you, Maureen - with so many good entries, I know how difficult it must have been. But you nailed it! Great job!
