to take two 580's and trigger them from a single trigger or put 2 triggers together so they will fire from 1 pocket wizard ?

Example:

single stand and 2 580's that would fire with out a modifier on them. Think of some of these set ups where you see 3 speedlights inside a single softbox from lastolight. Im looking for some ideas for a second set up. I have an AB800 and a vagabond that i shoot through small softbox. works well. would be cool to get the 580's to fire and use it for a 2nd set up. much lighter and easy to move around for when your on the move.

Thanks in advance

HI Mike,

You can easily feed sync to two strobes or flashes by using a 'Y' splitter adaptor or cable. Unless I'm missing something about what you want to do, it's that simple.

Plug a single male 3.5mm mini phone plug into the Pocket Wizard, and then plug two 3.5mm to PC (screw lock is preferred) into the 3.5mm jacks on the other end of the splitter. Connect the PC connectors to your 580.

If you don't have a 580EXII then you can use a 3.5mm plug to hot shoe.

I think i will make a trip to an electronics store other than radio shack and see what i can come up with. Im hoping this will do the trick.
