I was out riding my bike today and went past our legislative building. There are wedding photos there pretty much every weekend. This year I thought I would pull over and watch for a while to see what other photographers were doing.

Well my first one and he had the GF lightsphere on pointed strait up with cap I think. At one point he placed two children against the left hand column and on it's right side. As I watched the flash fire you could just see a whole lot of wasted light. Technically he could have bounced off the next column to the right as the children were angled correctly for that. I may have elected the bracket and flash strait on. They were in shade. Not sure if he was a pro or not.
