I remember last year's sale being some pretty sweet deals on their stands. I could use another 2 stands. Any idea on when they typically go on sale?

I know December was one sale. They have a sale now, but only the small Backlight stand is on sale.

Thanks for the info. I need some better stands. Mine are very light duty ones that I bought cheap. Blow over easily with an umbrella on it.

Well, they flex too.

But on that note, I bought dumbell weights for real cheap at Sears last week during their sale. I think I paid $6 each for 2x 10lb weights. Fit right over the umbrella bracket and rest at the bottom. Works well enough for now. Haven't tested them outside yet though. Just doing a damn good job holding them down in my upstairs bedroom.

For simple umbrella stuff, get impact 9.5" heavy duty stand. It is walys $40 ar B&H. Worth it IMHO.

I am going to be hanging big modifiers off of it and they have worked for me in the past, also they have sales in store on these, so instant gratification :D

Thanks for the suggestion Bobby! Good looking out
