Interesting idea, I like it. One note: Even though the background is nicely blurred, there is still so much going on with the shapes and colors that my eye kept getting drawn away from the model. If it was just the water (assumption) and the greenery, it wouldn't distract me so much.

I really like that first shot, but would like to have seen more light in her eye. Even though the background is blurred, it is so bright relative to her face, it keeps drawing my eyes away. A reflector would have kicked some of that light back into her eye. It is still an interesting shot.

I also prefer the first one. That is the reason what I posted it in the beginning. Noted that next time it should give more light to her eye. Thanks a lot for your comment.

I like the second one best, I dont know much about portraits but i think its important that the face is well lit...the one in your first pic just looks a little too dark for my liking
