I think the last time I posted I was feeling a little down with the shoot I had (which in hindsight wasn't all that bad..) but after some great advice from here and another board I did another PB shoot today and I was much happier with the results..

Would love to hear any feedback for the shots to help me move along.. I am trying to move towards a cleaner PP (and more consistant PP to boot..).

oops! forgot to add - Shot with the 7D and the 50mm 1.4 (at 2.0 mostly) and the 450D with the 24-70L (at 2.8 mostly).

awwkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!! I"m lovin' that kid and her chubby cheeks and her big smile and wild hair and funky scarf! The way she is strutting her stuff in the first shot looks like she is on the runway in Milan. Very cute set.

Thanks Sue.. always love getting feedback from you! Strutting her stuff is exactly what she did - I told her parents that she would one day be a leader.. super cute. Really lucky to be able to get to practice on these little ones..

Love how in #2 you can get a glimpse of the parents (great composition!) . Like how you framed up #3 so you can see the bridge railing and #5 is just plain precious! Great job on PP.

Angela, you did a great job on these! You captured her personality so well! This is a really nice series, and here are a few of my thoughts...

1. This is not necessarily your fault, and it's definitely personal preference, but I'm not a big fan of the girl's big scarf. It just seems to add so much bulk to an already bulky sweater jacket with a hood. On #2, you can see the tag.

2. On #2, her face looks very noisy and a bit dark in spots. You might also want to bring the exposure down a bit on dad's forehead.

3. I'd suggest cleaning up the railing on #3. I know how bird poop can be a hassle! I just did session where a nice bench had so many droppings! Added work in pp.
