I'd probably have ditched the distracting banner (although I like the yellow with the red). The AJ would stand out better against the red couch. I'd also have done his tummy shot bared chested and the sitting up shot with the necktie, so it would be more obvious as to the fact that it is a necktie. Having said that, the photos are too small to comment on whether you got light into the eyes, but I think I can see a catchlight. Either way, the light is nice and even, the poses are great, and he is so stinkin' cute!!! Nice job.

Another thing about shooting babies who are just learning to sit up on their own. When you put tiny blue jeans on them, along with a diaper, they tend to have a more difficult time sitting upright because the jeans don't bend very well. If they have a really solid sit up, some babies can and will compensate for that. That doesn't necessarily imply YOUR baby had a difficult time with the blue jeans, just an observation for others who may encounter this at that age.

Hi Sue,
Thank you for your nice advise about the banner. Yeah i think it's kinda distracting too. I do shoot a few shot and have the one he sit up with the tie too. You are right, my son was not balancing well when he is sitting in his jeans. I see that a couple of time. Thanks for your inputs! Appreciate it!

JakaHearts: AJ stands for Anthony Jiraphat. (Jiraphat is Thai name) He is half Thai, half American. I will check out your baby now :-) Yeah i like to dress my son like a little man. love it!

The banner can go, but #2 is a nice shot!

Join Flickr! Its free! I always upload to there anyway. The quality is better for the images and you can put larger images on there. What program do you use to resize the images?

Thanks Jaka! I know about Flickr but never join it there. I use Resize action in Photoshop to resize me pic in batch.

What size did you use? For most stuff here, make the long edge between 750 and 1000 pixels. Dont forget to resharpen for the smaller size too. :D
