Against my better judgement, my son got to ride in a hot wheel car with his friend Makena. She's a crazy driver! I think she almost got a time-out for playing "bumper cars." I guess it was a good thing that my husband strapped him in so tightly that his little belly was hanging over the strap! Despite the look that Evan was giving (there was no smile during the whole ride), I think he actually enjoyed it. Too bad he won't be getting one of these! C/C always welcome.

Cool shot! It really tells a story. The only CC id have is that his eye whites are just a smidge too bright to me. I know lots of people like that look but its just my personal opinion.

Thanks, I suppose I see what you are saying. It's strange because I didn't retouch the exposure of the eye whites seperately. I guess the sharpening did that. Thanks for your feedback!

I really only noticed it because us photo nerds look for things wrong in a picture. Its a great shot with a good black and white conversion. To me, his eyes shouldnt be the brightest white in the whole photo. While the does draw my attention there, it just seem unnatural. But what do I know?

Priceless! Super sharp! I think the eyes do a great job of pulling you into the photo. Make sure you keep a copy of that for him and Makena for when they grow up and can appreciate it! Was this shot at 2.8?

Thanks, this shot made it into the photo of the day file so at the end of the year it will make it into the photo of the day book! Shot settings were...
1/200
f/3.5
ISO 800
