Hi everybody

Yesterday I started blogging. You can follow me on http://bertmeskens.blogspot.com/ (external link)

I'm not really sure about the colors and the lay-out. The dark looks good on my calibrated monitor, but I wonder if it won't be to dark for people with a non-calibrated one. Any suggestions?

I was also thinking about using white as a background, but that made it look 'cheap'. Maybe with some pattern on it?

Thanks!

Since you have white text, I don't think the dark background is a problem. The photos can stand out on their own.

Ok, thanks!
I have been messing around with lay-outs and colors for 2 hours, so in the end I started doubting about everything :)

White on black hurts a bit, maybe try white on dark gray?

I'll see if I can lighten it up a bit. Problem is the line pattern, which I like a lot, only seems to work with black. But maybe I overlooked some settings...
