Can i make a time lapse video with the S95 without the tilt shift effect?

I don't see why you couldn't use an intervalometer script and CHDK instead of a rubber band and something to hold the shutter down to get the same sort of thing. Other than those 2 methods, there's nothing built into the camera to get a time lapse video.

An intervalometer (external link) is a device that you attached to a DSLR that will trigger an exposure at a given time frame. Ex; one exposure every 5 secs,

Using CHDK  (external link)it is a program (script) that does the same for many Canon P & S cameras
