I connected a Delkin USB 3 reader to a USB 2 port on my old desktop. I put one of the cards I have been using...a Sandisk Extreme 60MBs 16GB. I ran the Cyrstal Disk Mark tests for sequential read and write. As expected, the results were in the 20MBs range.

The I put in one of Duracel 600x 32GB cards and ran the same tests. The throughput is closer to 30MBs...still over a USB 2 transport.

Have not tried the Duracell-Delkin combo over a USB 3 transport.
