U-9 Baseball Photos - C&C Wanted

Here are a few shots from our latest tournament a few weeks ago.

All shot with the 1D Classic and the Sigma 100-300mm F4. SS speeds were varied. ISO was 400 I believe.

U-11 was my first attempt at baseball 2 weeks ago.
I used the 70-200/2.8 from just outside the first base line. I DID NOT get shots like these.

Where did you position yourself? Did you have access to the field? Dugout? Base coach's box?

I am an assistant coach. So I am on the field a lot.

I have access to the field. I normally sit out of the way or just inside the dugout. I also speak to the umpire to make sure there will be no issues with where I am planning on sitting. I'll also move around the field a little bit as well for a different look sometimes.
