Hi,

I had the S5 since two years and everything was working OK.
Suddenly and while shooting photos during a wedding ( at night) the camera stopped focusing if the Flash is raised.
If I close the flash everything works great and I can still shoot very nice pictures during the day.

Anyone had this issue before? Any hints

Thanks for ur help

Marwan

Hmmm....no replies in 2 days. Looks like you're a lone victim of this problem! Time to talk to Canon tech, maybe?

Tried fresh batteries or an external flash? Your current batteries may just be too weak to cope with both recharging the flash and focusing the lens.
