I know that when I post a shot and have 50+ looks and no comments, I get a bit frustrated.
Are you looking to share or looking for comments & Critique? So I will comment
Not sure what you were going for here, the Post is pretty heavy handed. Splitting the scene with the horizon doesn't help it much either.
It looks like it was a beautiful trip.
Looked thru your gallery on this trip, there are other shots I like better, but still not a fan of the heavy handed HDR look.

Thanks, man. In all honesty, the heavy handed HDR stuff is totally experimental on the photos from this trip. I just downloaded the HDR Effex Pro plug in when we returned. So these are my initial forays using that. I've never done anything like this in the past as you can see by all the boring **** on my SmugMug site. I do like my orchids though. But the HDR sure does make things pop. As an aside, I do think I got some nice shots for a guy hiking with two kids and a wife and no tripod. ;) I am having this one printed panoramic which might assuage your horizon splitting concern, the rule of thirds being holy. I really do appreciate the intelligent feedback. I've always kind of sucked. Just trying to suck less.
