Worth the investment? Any input would be appreciated.. Thanks!!! ![]() I think we got the 1 day city pass which wasn't quite worth the money we spent. If you were here for a few days, it might be worth it. I also found that a lot of the places/services "covered" by the card aren't true. For example, if you go to the Shedd, you'll get in for free, but you'll have to pay for the special exhibits. Same idea applies to almost everything the card offers. FS: Nothing for now.

Same idea applies to almost everything the card offers. Thats likely true of all the museums, and honestly true of museums everywhere. Special exhibits are major fundraisers and the right one can really boost the bottom line. Remember the huge lines for the Monet exhibit at the art institute in the 90's and the 150th anniversary of photography show there as well. Same thing with King Tut at the Field Museum.

However, I am there for 3 days conference and will only have 1 day to shoot.

Your best bet is probably a combination of Museum Campus and Millennium Park. FS: Nothing for now.

You will have to check it in if you are also going to museums though. Here are some more food places : Hot dougs - go early or late (10 or right before 4). do not go at lunchtime! Xoco Frontera Blackbird Naha Ian's Pizza Cafe Iberico Boka Union Sushi Bongo Room Tango Sur I second Ian's Pizza its so good and I really need to get back there, lots of different types to try. As far as locations, I think everybody pretty much has that covered. With Navy Pier if you go I've gotten away with using a tripod before but they do have a no tripod policy. Use the underpass at Lake Shore Drive & Ohio Street to access the beach. When you get to the beach, you'll see a piece of wooded parkland jutting out. That's Milton Lee Olive Park. Walk over there and you'll get this view: http://www.flickr.com …in/set-72157607854056981/ flickr
