Photoshop Curves, First Time

Hey everyone,

I'm new to post processing (I was vehemently against taking things into Photoshop for some reason), and I want to get some feedback.

Before:

HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'

I'd say it's the blue channel that needs correction.

Oh, I should have possibly specified, I was playing with that incredibly popular "old looking" photo look. Inspired by another potn user:

I also tried some skin retouching on this:

hope you don't mind if i have ago. made the eye's a little wider and slimmed the face a bit also, also made the neck a little bit longer. i am learning every day from this site, it's great.
