Hi everyone, haven't had much time to take pics, let alone post any. I finally got my new 500mm out this spring but missed most of the migration thru NJ. I stumbled upon these nesting Yellows today as they brought fresh food to the chicks. I never saw the nest, but after watching their flight paths for a while I was able to camp out near it and get some closeups. Enjoy and thx for looking!

A wonderful series Chris. All the Yellow Warblers have moved through here. I wish they would stay for a while longer.

Thx for all the nice comments folks! The disheveled look was due to a stiff breeze and the branch was really moving, so I was pleasantly surprised with the IQ. Hopefully going out again today (3 days in a row)!

Nicely captured Chris!
Even your side-lit shots have good shadow detail. They sure look to be hungry little buggers don't they....every shot it's got a bug in it's beak.

Thx, the sun was tough. The best angle I could approach was about 90 degrees off.

Wow! Perfectly executed, and better than any of the birding guides I have seen.
