Alex_Galea Senior Member 346 posts Joined Feb 2006 More info | Jun 16, 2011 23:12 | #2 a couple tips...make sure you get down the level of the subject, that way the background gets a good blur going. this will help isolate the subject like the girl in the last pic, and its why picture 3 doesn't look as good as the others. also (i know its hard) but try and get something nice in the background cuz that can make a big difference to feel of the picture. don't wana sound like a know-it-all haha just speaking my mind Canon Digital Rebel XT

Not at all! Thank you for the feedback, I'm always open for tips and crits. Unfortunately, it was really restrictive on where parents could watch the matches. There was a professional photographer there who could pretty much go wherever he wanted to get the shot. He had a HUGE lens on the end of his Nikon. The diameter at the end of it must have been around 8 inches. I have to admit, I had lens envy.
