Contrast seems high on the second. It also appears oversaturated. Why is her right eye out of focus? Complexion needs some touching up. Keep at it. Joe

And as said before, the lighting is harsh. The second, I agree that the DOF is too shallow and that it's a little too saturated, especially the red in her face. There are a couple little spots on the nose that I'd clean up along with the some hair on the blue background. Thanks. I thought about the freckles but wanted to leave a little natural. Good point about the hair. I have a hard time posing people and definitely need to work on that. As for harsh light, it was shot through a white umbrella and yunguo (sp?) 500series flash. Any suggestions on portable lighting modifier?
