Did you use a lens baby on these shots? There are some odd areas that are out of focus. The light is too extreme in #1 in my opinion. Contrast seems high on the second. It also appears oversaturated. Why is her right eye out of focus? Complexion needs some touching up. Keep at it.

No, it was with 85L. #2 was at f2.5. I should have used at least 2.8. Thanks for the CC.

Thanks. I thought about the freckles but wanted to leave a little natural. Good point about the hair. I have a hard time posing people and definitely need to work on that. As for harsh light, it was shot through a white umbrella and yunguo (sp?) 500series flash. Any suggestions on portable lighting modifier?
