How many of you elinchrom owners use pocket wizards with them? I'm not really interested in using the skyport system and a lot of the elinchroms have them built in. Can you just circumvent them by plugging in your PW? Is it that simple? Also, do those of you who have this kind of set up get good results and reliability?

Here are thoughts from a professional photographer and one of the biggest elinchrom users out there.

Yes you just plugin in your PW. I only use skyport for poweradjustments, i use pocketwizards for triggering and metering.

Unlike Frank im not that excited about skyport.

+2. I've never been really thrilled with Skyports.
