I'm going to contact Manfrotto about this, but after 3 uses, my 39" DO has had the interior silver material start peeling back from the hole that fits around the speedring. I've seen several other posts on other forums while searching Google that show people having this problem within several weeks of purchasing these. They've also had the same problem with replacement units.
Is this something normal that I should be aware of. If I get a new one and it starts peeling again, I don't want this to be huge cycle of having to constantly return the DO to get one that's in good condition.
I do shoot on location and this has been the 4th time it's been set up and then torn down. If this isn't sturdy enough to stand up to being setup more than one or two times, then I definitely don't want it.
